Kudos, Interns, Volunteers and More…

Thank you and Kudos to Loconeal Publishing’s success. In the last year Loconeal Publishing has seen steady growth. Additionally in the last year, Loconeal has seen an increase in sales, events, and authors. In 2011, we will bring a total of eight novels to print. We are already on target to increase that number to twelve in the year 2012.

But that’s not all, in a few short months Loconeal will begin offering its titles in a variety of digital formats as well. We are also gearing up for our annual Sandstone Book Expo in July, and wrapping up submissions (due by April 30, 2011) from authors and illustrators for Loco-Thology, our annual fantasy and science fiction anthology.

With this success, we find ourselves here at Loconeal Publishing, with an opportunity to give back. We have recently mapped out an internship & volunteer program to share our knowledge with those wanting to gain experience and a better understanding of the publishing process.

Internships and volunteerism can be specifically tailored to the interested individuals needs and available schedule. Participants are free to focus on one area, or may even work toward learning the entire process of publishing. In this age of technology, participants in these programs are not limited to their physical location either. Interns and volunteers are also given credit in published materials that they have had a direct involvement in. Some interns and volunteers may even qualify for future assistant positions.

A quick list of the opportunities at Loconeal Publishing include but are not limited to marketing, editing, researching, book design, illustrating and more. If you or someone you know would like to receive more information about these opportunities, contact info@loconeal.com . They can also check out a short description of some of the opportunities here.
