For Immediate Release

Loconeal Publishing Proudly Announces the Acquisition of Author Ren Garcia’s League of Elder Series

Loconeal Publishing is proud to announce the addition of author, Ren Garcia, to its family of writers, with the acquisition of his science-fiction series, The League of Elder.

LoE: Sygillis of Metatron was the first novel written in the series. It details the story of Captain Davage, the Lord of Blanchefort of the League of Elders, commanding the Stellar Fleet vessel Seeker and his introduction to the woman he would one day marry. Sygillis of Metatron was a vile Black Hat, enemy of the Sisterhood of Light and a Xaphan member of the tribe of Elders who “betrayed the League and became their enemy long ago.” Sygillis planned to murder Captain Davage and attacked him in his dreams. However, using his fabled Gift of Sight, Davage defeated Sygillis and broke the “Clutch” surrounding her soul. The second novel in the series, The Hazards of the Old Ones delves into the gods and how far they will go to prevent a pending tragedy.

The League of Elder series is a blend of galactic science-fiction with a touch of fantasy. In the League of Elder, Ren has created a meticulously detailed fully conceived world complete with histories and nations and races populated by well-developed characters who participate in an engaging plot.

The League of Elder series was originally published by iUniverse. The Loconeal Publishing editions will be reprinted in their entirety including the original cover art and some additional inside illustrations. The projected release date for the new/reprinted editions of Sygillis of Metatron and The Hazards of the Old Ones is late March of 2011, just in time for Millennicon held in Cincinnati, Ohio. They will be released in trade paperback and several eBook formats.

Loconeal Publishing will also be publishing Ren Garcia’s next series set within the League of Elder universe, The Temple of the Exploding Head. More information will follow regarding the release dates of these next three books.

If you would like to meet the author, he will be available at Millennicon in Cincinnatti, Ohio the weekend of March 25-27, 2011.

Updates and additional information can be obtained at the official site for Loconeal Publishing, at www.loconeal.com, or at the author’s site at http://thetempleoftheexplodinghead.wordpress.com .
