"Pakistan Cricket continues to shoot itself in the foot. It's its own worst enemy. There are so many good players, resources, so much young talent with incredible skill and yet everything is just still so chaotic," said the former Pakistan coach.
"It is really disappointing to see. I thought when they signed Gillespie and Kirsten they had gone down exactly the right route. They have got some really good players because ultimately it is players that lose out," he added.
The former head coach also spoke about how agendas are driven in the media and on the mistreatment of Gary Kirsten and Jason Gillespie in 2024.
"They have signed some really good coaches to take them forward but then that machine just undermining. Agendas driven in the media. It is a jungle out there," he further added.
"Feel sorry for Gary and Jason. They were undermined because it is detrimental to the players and ultimately Pakistan cricket," Arthur concluded.
